Open Question: Why do people make fun of sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, Diving because it’s dominated by Asian players?

It’s not like anyone ever makes fun of Tennis for being dominated by Europeans like at the Aussie open…
I always see and hear people making comments about how sports like table tennis, badminton, diving, gymnastics etc. is “funny”, “stupid”, “sh*T” sport because of the “Asians”. But why? I researched that badminton and table tennis are actually a British sports.
