Open Question: Where to go on holiday with my family?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could really really help me out? Me and my family, mum, dad, brother (16) and me (14) want to go on holiday in the summer. We are thinking a Greek island, not Rhodes because we have been there, but maybe somewhere like Crete? We want a hotel with sea views, HAS to be in walking distance OR CLOSE to a town, shops and restaurants. There needs to be a FRESH water pool and activites in the hotel like table tennis, mini golf etc. so we don’t get bored. The town nearby has to have atomosphere!! Not apartments, hotel. Really hope one of you can give me a recommendation with all this on a Greek island, I know its hard but if not a greek island, anywhere else??? xx
