Open Question: whats the best ping-pong racket?
Jun/100
I want a new ping-pong racket, but I don’t want to spend more than 50-70 dollars. I currently have a Stiga, and I’m really happy with it. However, I don’t know whether to stick with Stiga or to go with another brand. Which is the better brand for the money, Butterfly, Stiga, or Killerspin? Or are there other good ones I should consider? Here are the ones I’m torn between (Stiga Supreme and Butterfly Senshu):

Whats the difference between ping pong and table tennis?
Mar/104

I read somewhere while playing ping pong, you hit your side of the table each time, while in table tennis only hit his hand during the service. Is there a difference and what it is?
Open Question: what’s better? Nintendo wii or PS3?
Dec/080
I know this question has been asked a lot! but I really don’t know which one would be better to get. I had a PS1 when I was 3 (I’m 13 now) and it lasted for a while then I upgraded to PS2. I’ve only played a wii once and I’ve never played a PS3 yet. I’m used to games like ratchet and clank, star wars battlefront etc, but when I think about it, wouldn’t the PS3 just be a PS2 with better graphics slightly? and a wii has all those games like table tennis and boxing that entertain you for like 20 minutes every time you play it.
Does wii have actual have games like on playstation or is it just those sports sorta games?
thx!

Resolved Question: Whats the Name of this old film?
Dec/080
I’ve not got much to go on but I saw a film a long time ago on TV and would love to see it again but don’t know what it was called. All I can remember is……..it may have been Black and White and I think it was an English film not American. It was about a Man who kept finding time would freeze, basically everyone round him would stop but he could move around, and every time it happened a man would turn up (it may have been death / the grim reaper). The one scene thats stuck with me over the years is where the main character has told a friend about these events and the main character the friend and a woman all stay together to see if it happens again, but when it does they freeze and don’t know anything about it. The reason this bit sticks in my mind is because they’re playing table tennis when they freeze and the ball’s suspended in mid-air, which from what I remember was well done for the age of the film. I would guess the films from around the 1950’s but could be way off as i’ve not seen it for year. Any help you can give would be excellent.
Many thanks
Was a full length film.
No not Day Of The Triffids! That’s nothing like the film I said!
